- We have experience. Our professional team is made up of talented and seasoned men and women with extensive backgrounds in underwriting, compliance, finance and employee communication. Our clients benefit from our team's collective experience, as well as from each principal's focused expertise. In addition, our founders have ample experience running their own companies and can relate to the needs of our clients in a way that traditional brokers and consultants simply cannot.
- We have helped those large and small. ACG partners and professionals have helped large publicly-held corporations with 10,000+ employees and private companies with a few hundred employees design, install and manage a benefit program that makes sense for them, based on their unique needs and situations.
- We are plan funding experts. ACG professionals take plan financing decisions seriously. We are expert at structuring the financing mechanism to maximize outcomes for each client. We do this by helping the clients assume the appropriate risk structure, and leveraging "risk layering" (techniques and strategies) with carriers and specialty carriers. We focus our efforts on educating clients about funding options, and the benefits and risks, as we guide them toward the right decision for their company.
Our Orientation
and Objectivity
- ACG is a professional services organization. We bring a more refined, balanced and experienced approach to program consultation and management through the disciplined planning and management proprietary process called Armada Health Pathwayssm. ACG specializes in employee health benefits programs. This specialty is a key differentiator from other brokers. We do not offer an array of employee benefit products (such as 401(k), Individual life insurance, casualty coverages, non-qualified deferred compensation plans, etc.) as many brokers do. We do not focus on building our business around commodity oriented benefit administration systems. Instead, our focus is on building and sustaining a successful Group benefits program for each client.
- We are impartial. Throughout all our consultative engagements, we remain, first and foremost, objective. Unlike much of our competition, our carrier selection or plan recommendations for a client is never driven or influenced by undisclosed carrier bonuses and fee incentives.
Our Strategic Approach
- We are strategic thinkers and planners. The cornerstone of ACG is our emphasis on strategic plan development and management. By taking a long-term strategic approach rather than shopping yearly for short-term cost savings, an organization can eliminate the uncertainty of the annual renewal impact while providing better programs for employees and creating better financial outcomes.
- Our process is ongoing. To the professionals at ACG strategic consultation is a continual, year-round, year after year exercise. We do not believe in the once-a-year plan review method used by most brokers and consultants. Our plan management strategy and plan performance monitoring services are future-oriented, focused on three to five year time horizons, not just next year's premium change.

Employee education and communication are at our core. Designing a program and contribution strategy that works and meets corporate objectives is one thing, but understanding and acceptance by employees is another. No matter the plan or program, outcomes are improved if employees value their plan, understand how to use it, and have access to information and tools they need to make educated decisions about their health care. |
